  1. Booking Your Holiday
    • Contract Formation: Your contract is with Annapurna Vision Tours and Travels (Annapurna), a company registered in Kathmandu, Sydney and Melbourne. All bookings are subject to these terms and conditions.
    • Booking Process: Bookings can be made through our website or authorised representatives. A completed booking form and a 50% deposit are required to initiate a booking. Annapurna reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.
    • Booking Confirmation: A written confirmation will be issued upon receipt of the booking form and deposit. This confirmation constitutes a binding contract.
    • Payment: Full payment is due 30 days prior to departure. Late payments may result in cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit.
    • Special Requests: Any special requests (dietary restrictions, accessibility requirements, etc.) should be clearly communicated at the time of booking. We will Endeavor to accommodate these requests but cannot guarantee fulfillment.

 

  1. Pricing and Payment
    • Price Accuracy: We strive to ensure the accuracy of all prices advertised. However, errors may occur, and we reserve the right to correct them at any time.
    • Price Changes: While we Endeavor to avoid price increases, we reserve the right to adjust prices due to fluctuations in transportation costs, taxes, or exchange rates. You will be notified of any price increases before confirmation.
    • Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and cash. A detailed breakdown of accepted payment methods and any associated fees will be provided upon request.
    • Currency: All prices are quoted in AUD. Any currency conversions will be based on the exchange rate prevailing at the time of payment.

 

  1. Itinerary Changes
    • Right to Amend: Annapurna reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, political instability, or operational issues.
    • Major Changes: If significant alterations to the itinerary become necessary, you will be informed as soon as possible. You will have the option to accept the changes, choose an alternative itinerary, or cancel your booking with a full refund.
    • Minor Changes: Minor changes to the itinerary, such as accommodation upgrades or slight schedule adjustments, may occur without prior notice.

 

  1. Cancellation and Refunds
    • Cancellations by You: Cancellation fees apply. The specific charges will depend on the timing of the cancellation and are outlined in our cancellation policy.
    • Cancellations by Annapurna: In rare cases, Annapurna may need to cancel a tour. If this occurs, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid.
    • Refunds: Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of the cancellation date.

 

  1. Travel Insurance
    • Recommended: We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, lost baggage, and other unforeseen events.
    • Insurance Coverage: Information about available travel insurance options can be provided upon request.

 

  1. Passport and Visa Requirements
    • Passport Validity: It is your responsibility to ensure that your passport is valid for the entire duration of your trip, including any transit countries.
    • Visas: Obtaining necessary visas is the sole responsibility of the traveller. We can provide guidance on visa requirements but cannot be held responsible for any visa-related issues.
    • Travel Documents: It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain all necessary travel documents, including passports, visas, and health certificates. Annapurna can provide general guidance but cannot guarantee the accuracy of information.

 

  1. Health and Safety
    • Travel Health: It is recommended to consult with a healthcare professional regarding vaccinations and necessary precautions for your destination.
    • Physical Fitness: Some tours may require a certain level of physical fitness. It is your responsibility to assess your ability to participate in the activities included in your itinerary.
    • Medical Conditions: If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, please inform us at the time of booking.
    • Health Considerations: Be aware of potential health risks associated with your chosen destination. Consult with a healthcare professional for recommended vaccinations and precautions.
    • Local Laws and Customs: Familiarise yourself with the local laws and customs of your destination. Respectful behavior is essential for a pleasant experience.

 

  1. Liability
    • Disclaimer: While we take all reasonable measures to ensure your safety and enjoyment, we cannot be held responsible for accidents, injuries, illnesses, or losses incurred during your trip.
    • Third-Party Suppliers: We act as an agent for third-party suppliers (airlines, hotels, transportation providers, etc.) and are not liable for their acts or omissions.
    • Force Majeure: We are not liable for any delays, cancellations, or changes caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political unrest, or pandemics.
    • Force Majeure Events: Annapurna cannot be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or itinerary changes due to force majeure events, including but not limited to outbreak, pandemic, natural disasters, political instability, strikes, riots, or acts of terrorism.

 

  1. Data Protection
    • Personal Information: We collect and process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
    • Data Sharing: We may share your information with third-party suppliers for the purpose of fulfilling your booking.

 

  1. Complaints
    • On-Tour Issues: If you encounter any problems during your trip, please inform your local guide or representative immediately.
    • Post-Trip Complaints: Any complaints should be submitted in writing within 7 days of your return.

 

  1. Governing Law
    • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Nepal and Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the above-mentioned courts.  

 

  1. Baggage and Personal Belongings
    • Baggage Responsibility: Annapurna is not liable for any loss, damage, or delay to baggage during transit. Customers must report any such incidents immediately to the relevant authorities and obtain a claim report. Annapurna can assist in reporting the matter but cannot guarantee compensation.
    • Prohibited Items: Customers are prohibited from carrying any illegal, contraband, or restricted items. Annapurna will not be held responsible for any legal issues arising from the possession of such items.

 

  1. Dispute Resolution
    • Complaint Handling: Any disputes or complaints should be addressed to Annapurna immediately. We will investigate the matter and strive to resolve it within 7 days.
    • Limitation of Liability: Annapurna is not liable for any losses or damages arising from customer negligence, illegal activities, or failure to comply with local laws and regulations.

 

  1. Child Protection
    • Child Supervision: Parents or legal guardians are solely responsible for the supervision of children during the tour. Annapurna does not provide childcare services.

 

  1. Entire Agreement
    • These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Annapurna and supersede all previous agreements or representations.
